The desire to provide objective financial planning was the catalyst for Jeffrey's formation of The Hunter Group in 1986. Prior to that time, Jeffrey worked with GMAC, Citicorp, and Cigna Financial Services where he gained valuable experience and insights into the complexities of corporate and individual financial planning issues. His certification as a Certified Financial Planner™ indicates Jeffrey has completed, and continues to complete, rigorous education, experience, and examination requirements set forth by the CFP Board of Standards. His clients are located worldwide and include numerous executives with Fortune 500 companies and smaller public and privately held firms, small business owners, retirees and a Nobel Prize winner. The Hunter Group has assembled a team of top-notch financial planning experts on their staff and work closely with an elite group of estate and tax attorneys, CPAs, and pension specialists. |

Ronald E. Floyd, CFP® Managing Director

Ron’s extensive experience in the financial services industry and high work ethic bring to The Hunter Group a wealth of insights regarding every facet of financial planning. He was recognized as a top wealth advisor with his previous firm, IDS/American Express which later became Ameriprise Financial Advisors. His career began with Lincoln National Life in 1977 and after creating his own agency he joined Value Equities Corp. Ron gained additional valuable industry knowledge while employed with FNIC. As a CFP, he has met the high standards set by the Board and he continues to complete ongoing continuing education requirements. Ron works with clients to design a personal financial plan around their unique life goals. This strategy focuses on helping them become more confident about managing their financial objectives. It is designed to provide solutions to both every day and long-term financial goals, and is personalized to meet the needs of high-net-worth individuals and small business owners.
With over 30 years in the financial planning business Ron understands that everyone’s situation is uniquely different and that priorities change based on time horizons, and their long and short-term goals. |

Kevin King, CFA Portfolio Manager

| Kevin joined The Hunter Group in 2000 after five years as a Portfolio Analyst for Provident Capital Corp. conducting research on individual stocks and assisting in the management of over 100 individual stock portfolios. While at Provident, Kevin earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the Association for Investment Management and Research. Achieving the Chartered Financial Analyst designation demonstrates Kevin's keen financial analytical acumen as well as his commitment to being the best in his field. Kevin also assisted in investment operations and research for San Diego Trust and Savings Bank's proprietary mutual fund family. Presently, as Portfolio Manager, Kevin researches market trends, analyzes the performance of stocks, bonds, and mutual funds, forecasts market changes, and, in coordination with the entire staff, makes recommendations to the financial advisors to optimize the performance of client portfolios. |

Ryan Miyamoto, CFP® Case Manager

Ryan brings several years of insurance and financial services experience to The Hunter Group. He received comprehensive financial planning experience with Ameriprise and in-depth knowledge of various insurance products as Sales Director for a national insurance firm. His focus is comprehensive regarding investment, insurance, and financial issues. A graduate of the University of California, Davis, with a degree in Economics, Ryan is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and presently holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities registrations and a California Insurance license.

Beth’s expertise is coordinating the many details of managing client data, scheduling appointments, processing paperwork and ensuring compliance with regulatory matters. Beth’s extreme attention to detail, calm demeanor and dedication to serving clients needs and keeping the office running efficiently since 2000 make her an integral part of the The Hunter Group team for staff and clients alike. |

Edwina Seiss, Relationship Manager

Edwina began her financial services career in 1999 as a broker for Morgan Stanley Dean Witter in La Jolla. She broadened her industry knowledge by participating in their annual comprehensive training programs in New York City. In 2001 she joined a boutique office of Sentra Securites that would later be purchased by SunAmerica to become what is now AIG Financial Advisors. For the last three years the La Jolla office was sanctioned by The San Diego County Office of Education in assisting local teachers to save in their 403(b), Roth 403(b), and 457 Plans. Edwina held weekly educational seminars and assisted in navigating the red tape of their retirement programs.
Edwina graduated from the University of California San Diego with a BA in Chemistry. She holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities registrations and a California Insurance license. As Relationship Manager she interfaces with clients and advisers on a daily basis to ensure timely and accurate follow up on wealth management plans. She is thrilled to be part of the team and working in an objective, full service financial service firm. |

Miryana Trgo, Administrative Manager

Miryana graduated from the University of Croatia with a major in Economics. She worked four years in the Jugobanka Bank and she worked for the United Nations from 1993 to 1995. She is proud of helping to supervise the air food relief program in Sarajevo, Bosnia for the United Nations where tens of thousands of people could have starved. Upon relocating to the United States in 1997 she worked for an investor and developed a keen interest in Financial Planning. She joined forces with Jim Blommer at Girard Securities in 2002 as a financial services and tax preparation coordinator as well as key client liaison. She holds a Securities License and works closely with the The Hunter Group staff to integrate the many details of a client's financial plan. |

Kathy Lysaught, Client Services Manager

Kathy Lysaught assists The Hunter Group in several arenas. Handling client administrative issues, coordinating appointments and upcoming events, providing general and back office support, and operations are just a few of her responsibilities. As a Notary, Kathy provides notary services for client documents and coordinates the recording with appropriate agencies. As a licensed Realtor, Kathy provides valuable insights, research, and resources in the real estate and mortgage industries. |
