Phil Jacobson, Managing Director
Phil is a founding principal of United Capital's Rockford office. Prior to joining United Capital he was a Sr. Vice President at Dain Rauscher (now RBC Dain Rauscher) where he started his career. Phil brings over 20 years of industry experience, as well as extensive expertise in working with high net worth individuals and non-profit organizations. Among his accomplishments is the development of a customized portfolio management system, which was the first of its kind to be implemented throughout an entire brokerage firm. Because of his down to earth yet relevant style, Phil is also a requested speaker on the economy and the markets at conferences across the country.
A native of Minnesota, Phil holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management and a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA). He now resides in Rockford, IL with his wife and two children.
